4. Advertising & AdMob

Our app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob and its partners.

• AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including your device’s Advertising ID, IP address, location (approximate), and interactions with ads.
• Ads may be personalized based on your preferences, location, or app activity. In regions such as the EU, you may be asked to provide consent for personalized ads. If you decline, you will continue to see non-personalized ads

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share your data in the following cases:

• With Other Users: Your contact information (if provided) may be visible in your pet ads.

• Legal Compliance: If required by law or to protect our rights and interests, we may share data with law enforcement or government agencies.
• Business Transfers: If our company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale, your data may be transferred.

6. User Responsibilities & Disclaimer

• Platform Purpose: Our platform is solely a medium for posting and browsing ads. We do not inspect, verify, or endorse any pets listed.
• No Liability for Transactions: We are not responsible for any financial transactions, payments, disputes, or agreements made between users.
• Meeting Users: We do not facilitate or monitor meetups between users. You are responsible for ensuring safety when meeting other users.
• Pet Health & Legality: We do not guarantee the health, breed, or authenticity of any pets listed on our platform.
• No Endorsement of Advertisers: We do not take responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of user-generated ads.

7. Security Measures

We implement reasonable security measures to protect user data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute safety of your information.

8(a). Zero Tolerance Policy

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content, abusive users, hate speech, nudity, and violence. Any violation may lead to immediate account suspension or removal.

Examples of prohibited content include, but are not limited to: hate speech or discriminatory language, explicit nudity or sexual content (including content involving minors), graphic violence, harassment, threats, spam, illegal activity, impersonation, and materially misleading information.

Users may report objectionable content using the in-app "Report" feature, and may block other users. Upon receipt of a report, we will review and take appropriate action (including content removal and account suspension or ban) and will aim to address reports within 24 hours.

8(b). Child Safety & CSAE/CSAM Policy

We strictly prohibit and have zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE/CSAM). Any content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative manner is immediately removed, and accounts responsible will be permanently banned.

We also cooperate with relevant legal authorities and child protection agencies to ensure compliance with international child safety laws.

Users can report any suspicious or harmful content directly in-app using the "Report" feature.

9. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your data, including:

• The right to access, update, or delete your personal data.
• The right to restrict or object to certain data processing.
• The right to withdraw consent (if applicable).

10. Retention of Data

We retain your data as long as necessary for legal, operational, or business purposes. If you delete your account, some data may still be retained for compliance reasons.

11. Content Moderation

All posts & ads go through admin approval before being visible to users.

12. Legal Compliance

Users of Eyes on Pets, whether acting as buyers, sellers, or advertisers, are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, regional, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations in their own country.

This applies to all activities on the platform, including but not limited to:

• Sharing Moments – Posting personal experiences, updates, or media (such as photos/videos) in the social feed.
• Comments & Interactions – Engaging with posts through comments, replies, or other interactive features.
• Advertisements & Listings – Creating posts related to buying, selling, adopting, or transferring pets, or any other listings permitted under the platform’s policies.

Users must ensure that their content and actions do not violate any laws concerning animal welfare, species-specific restrictions, licensing requirements, import/export regulations, or any other legal provisions related to pets in their respective jurisdiction.

The Eyes on Pets application and its owner company shall not be held liable or responsible for any non-compliance, violation, or breach of such laws, rules, or regulations by any user. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless the application and its company against any and all claims, damages, penalties, or liabilities arising from their failure to adhere to the relevant legal framework.

13. Account Deletion

When you choose to delete your account, all of your personal data, profile information, and any other associated content will be permanently deleted from our systems, in accordance with GDPR and CCPA requirements. This process is irreversible.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
